WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF RUSSIAN ROUND TABLE SOUTH MIAMI ABOUT US The Russian Round Table, South Miami (RRT-SM) is a socio-cultural organization, based in Coral Gables, which aims to provide the Russian speaking community with a link to its vast heritage.
Started by a British linguist and her Russian language tutor in November 2008, the main focus of the RRT is to bring the culture and language of Russia, and the countries of the former Soviet Union, to South Florida. Our activities and events are focused on providing opportunities for our members to meet other Russian speakers and also to encourage cultural exchange with non-Russian speakers in the area. In order to fulfill our objectives we host a monthly social/networking meeting in Coral Gables, a monthly Book Club and frequent Movie Nights. Our Kids Club gives children the chance to speak Russian with other Russian-speaking children in the area. We offer Russian language classes with qualified teachers and many other language exchange possibilities with our members. RRT-SM organizes special events and celebrations and also informs its members of other Russian-related events taking place in South Florida.
Whether you grew up in the United States, in Russia/former Soviet Union, or anywhere else in the world, if you are interested in Russian culture, you are welcome!
